UA 4-H Excels at State Livestock Championships

Union Academy 4-H students dominated the 2025 North Carolina 4-H Livestock State Championship, bringing home numerous top honors across all divisions of Livestock Quizbowl, Skillathon, and Judging. Their outstanding performances have earned senior team members invitations to try out for the North Carolina state team that will compete at the National 4-H Livestock Competition in Louisville, Kentucky this fall.

 Grant Williams New Athletic Director

 

Union Academy is proud to announce the appointment of Grant Williams as the school’s new Athletic Director. A familiar face on campus since 2017, Williams brings nearly a decade of leadership, coaching, and educational experience to his new role.

 

Amy Yermack named Interim Head of School

Amy Yermack has been named as Interim Head of School. Mrs. Yermack has been a fixture at UA for over a decade, bringing energy, compassion, and deep knowledge of our school and its mission.

Meet our Therapy Dog, Buddy!

Union Academy is proud to introduce the newest (and furriest) member of its team: Buddy, a certified therapy dog dedicated to supporting the well-being of all students, K–12. Buddy’s role at Union Academy is to be a warm and steady presence, available to any student who may need a moment of connection or calm.
