Mental Health - SOS - Surviving Our Struggles
SOS is a new club that meets on UA’s campus this year! We are dedicated to empowering young people to speak up and speak openly about mental health. Our mission is to stop the stigma of mental health in our school, community, and beyond. SOS members are committed to starting a conversation about mental health. Educating others about mental illness and sharing that information with others breaks down the barriers of the stigma surrounding mental health. We don’t want anyone to struggle in silence. SOS wants to be “un-silent” about mental health. We are people who are support-seeking and standing up for the silent voices of mental health. Come join us! All are welcome!

During meeting times, students work to brainstorm events hosted by NAHS throughout the year, order supplies, contact organizations to work with, and contribute to smaller scale opportunities within the school.
