Back-to-School 2025-26

All mandatory forms/acknowledgements are located in Infinite Campus or MyPaymentsPlus. Information about enrolling into Infinite Campus was emailed to all families on July 8. When you receive the activation code from Infinite Campus, please register immediately and complete the required information.

Infinite Campus: Complete the medical information

• Medical: All students are "opted-in" to receive health room services. If you choose not to utilize/Opt-Out of School Health Services for your child, please complete the Refusal of School Health Services Form and return to the school nurse.

MyPaymentsPlus: New students can enroll in MPP once they receive their child's student ID #.

MyPaymentsPlus: Technology acknowledgements/agreements

MyPaymentsPlus: Field Trip Permission (July 1, 2025-June 30, 2026)

Payment due in MyPaymentsPlus by August 29.

Using School Technology

Union Academy Charter School ("School") encourages the use of in-school technology, 1:1 (one-to-one) devices and the network, including the Internet, as a tool for research and education. Technology and the network, like any other school property, must be used for the educational purposes for which they are intended. All school technology, including the Chromebooks issued to students are the property of the School. The use of technology is a privilege, not a right, and may be revoked at any time for inappropriate conduct.

Students must abide by rules and behavioral expectations both at home and within the school, all of which are considered a part of the School’s Student Conduct Code, with violations subject to possible student discipline.

Technology Usage Fee

While Union Academy has invested largely in its technology program and resources, there is also a Technology Usage Fee. The Usage Fee for students is $30 and includes the Device Protection Plan. The Usage Fee covers the use of the device, support, and software.

The Student Device Protection Plan is a program designed to reduce repair costs for students and families in the event of accidental damage related to school technology. 

Without the Device Protection Plan, families are responsible for 100% of repair/replacement fees when damage occurs. A replacement Chromebook is $280 or more depending on model. 

Payments can be made in Union Academy’s Student Accounting Platform – My Payments Plus (or “MPP”).

The August lunch menu opens July 7 and closes July 30 at 9pm (no exceptions). There will be NO catered lunch the first week of school. 

• K-4 will need the name of the HR teacher. 
  • K students use the name of the teacher for staggered entry that was emailed to you.
  • Grades 1-4: You will receive your teacher name on Monday, July 21. 
• 5-12 only needs the grade level. (School ID # is NOT needed.)
• Catered Lunch System registration
• All other months, Catered Lunch must be ordered by the 22nd of the month unless otherwise noted. 

UA does not have a traditional cafeteria. Students may order lunch from Boonli or bring a lunch from home. Visit the Catered Lunch page on our website for the details. 

MyPaymentsPlus (MPP) is our online payment system for After School and Activity Dues as well as other items when needed.

• New Students: To register for MyPaymentsPlus you will need your student's ID number and HR teacher's name. You can pick those up at Open House from your child's HR teacher.
• Returning Students: To pay Activity Dues, you will need your student's HR teacher name. MPP plus will prompt you to update your child's grade level.

Registration is open in MyPaymentsPlus for returning students and July 25 (or when you receive Student ID#) for new students. 

• Grades K-8 until 6 p.m.
• Registration deadline is Thursday night, at 11:59pm, of the week before.
• There is a $25 late fee (per child) after the 11:59pm cut off

K-5 School Day: 8am-3pm

Grades 6-12 School Day: 8:15am-3:15pm

*Safety! Safety! Safety! Parking lot is CLOSED except to staff. Do not enter the parking lot during morning or afternoon drop off. Use carpool. 

South Carpool 7:30am-8:00am

• Grades K-5 and their 6-12 older siblings. Please note that South Carpool closes at 8:00am.
• Use all three lanes and zipper as the three lanes turn to two lanes. Please use UA character and take turns allowing all lanes to zipper. All the lanes are equal. 
• In the drop off area, turn off your engine. 
• Wait for staff to signal when students may exit the car.
• Students should exit on the passenger side and walk directly to the sidewalk - not in the lanes.
• Wait for staff to signal when all students are safely on the sidewalk before putting your car in Drive. Look for an orange light stick.
• K-5 students report directly to their classroom.
• MS students report to North Gym
• HS students report to MPR

North Carpool 7:30am-8:15AM

• Grades 6-12 only.
• Use all three lanes until you reach the cones in the center lane. Then zipper into the two outside lanes. Please use UA character and take turns allowing the center lane to zipper. All the lanes are equal. 
• Follow staff instructions in the drop off area in front of the school.
• Put your car in park while dropping off. 
• All students should exit on the passenger side and walk directly to the sidewalk - not in the lanes. 
• HS students report to the MPR
• MS students report to North Gym

*As a courtesy to our families who need to drop off earlier, the MPR will open at 7:00am for K-12 students. This is in North Carpool only, and there will NOT be staff directing traffic. Do NOT drop your child off before the doors open at 7am. At 7:30am, K-5 students will be escorted to their rooms and MS students will be escorted to North Gym. Regular morning carpool begins at 7:30am. Please use the appropriate carpool listed above. 

• Car tags are required for afternoon pickup. No exceptions. 

• *Safety! Safety! Safety! Parking lot is CLOSED except to staff. Do not enter the parking lot during morning or afternoon drop off. Use carpool.

South Carpool - There are (3) groups for dismissal. Please find the group that applies to your family and follow the procedures. 

• Dismissal for Kindergarten students only (WITHOUT any UA siblings) will begin at 2:30pm. 
  • Use the far left lane. Cars for K only will be released from 2:30-2:45pm. At 2:45pm the K only lane will close and all lanes will release for regular carpool at 3:00pm for K-5 (no older siblings). K only parents are encouraged to arrive before 2:30pm. 
• Dismissal for K-5 students only (no 6-12 older siblings) will begin at 3:00pm. 
  • Do not enter the far left hand lane before 2:45pm. Any cars picking up Grades 1-12 that are in the far left lane BEFORE 2:45pm will have to drive back around and re-enter carpool line. 
• Dismissal for K-5 students WITH older siblings will begin at 3:15pm. Enter carpool at 3:15 or later. 
  • Do not enter carpool until 3:15pm or later. Any cars picking up older siblings in grades 6-12 who enter South Carpool BEFORE 3:15pm will have to drive back around and re-enter the carpool line. 
  • K-5 students with older siblings are dismissed at 3:15pm. Please arrive at 3:15pm or after so you are not in the middle of the earlier dismissal. Parents with students in grades 6-12 that arrive before 3:15 will NOT be allowed to park and must loop around and go back through carpool. 
• Notes for all South Carpool riders:
  • The parking lot is CLOSED unless you are directed into the lot by the staff member at the front of the line. If your child does not come out during your assigned time, use your flashers to signal staff. If you enter carpool in the wrong time slot, you will need to loop around and re-enter carpool.
  • Your tag will be entered only after you enter the parking lot. 
  • You may exit your car and stand on the sidewalk next to your car to signal your child. Do not walk to the staging area at South Gate. 

North Carpool - Grades 6-12 only (no younger siblings)

• Do not enter carpool until 2:00pm or after.
• Do not block carpool lanes. Delivery drivers, guests, and others need to be able to access the loop to the front of the school. 

The dress code is specific to each school. Check it carefully before purchasing uniforms and spirit wear.

• Student Parking
• Lockers will be assigned only to HS students who request one. Complete the Locker form.
• We are in need of class officers for Student Government for the 25-26 school year. Students who are interested in running for office should complete the Class Officer form.

Families volunteer webpage

• Enter volunteer hours in MobileServe. One account per family. Visit the webpage for details.
• Each family is expected to serve a minimum of 60 hours each year. 

High School Students volunteer webpage

• Students are expected to complete 105 service hours before graduation. Visit the webpage for details. 
• All hours must be entered into MobileServe in the school year they are completed.

• CAC fees and seasonal fees for middle and high school athletes are paid in MyPaymentsPlus.

We are excited to welcome a certified therapy dog to our school campus as part of our social-emotional support initiatives. The therapy dog will participate in supervised activities designed to promote a positive school climate, reduce stress, and support student well-being.

While participation in therapy dog activities is voluntary and closely monitored, we understand that some families may prefer that their child not interact with the therapy dog due to allergies, fears, or personal beliefs.

If you do not wish for your child to participate in any therapy dog-related activities, please complete and return this form to your child’s homeroom teacher. Students whose families choose to opt out will be respectfully excluded from all interactions involving the therapy dog.

Middle School
