January 5, 2024 10:00 a.m.	Online Application Opens	The Union Academy Lottery online application will open at 10:00 a.m.
February 5, 2024 5:00 p.m.	Lottery Information Session UA Multi-Purpose Room (MPR) 675 North MLK Jr. Blvd Monroe, NC 28110	Families are invited to join us for tours of Union Academy following the Information Session. *Note: We also conduct tours of our school throughout the week If you would like to schedule a tour, please contact Mandy Watkins at (704-238-8883) or email awatkins@unionacademy.org to schedule. (No tours Feb.19-23).
March 1, 2024 10:00 a.m.	Online application deadline	The Union Academy Lottery online application will close at 10:00 a.m.
March 11, 2024 5:00 p.m.	LIVE PUBLIC LOTTERY UA Multi-Purpose Room (MPR) 675 North MLK Jr. Blvd Monroe, NC 28110	Note: Families are welcome to attend the live public lottery, but do not have to. Attending the live lottery does not impact your child's chances of acceptance into UA.* Open seats will be offered to eligible student applicants immediately following the lottery. Families will be notified by email regarding their lottery results. Parents can also log onto the account they created to check the results of the lottery and the waitlist number per grade level. Applicants will be given a maximum of five business days (until Monday, March 18) to make a decision on the offer and submit the required online enrollment forms. If the offer is denied or not claimed by submitting the completed online enrollment forms within the five-day period, the seat will be offered to the first student on the waitlist.
March 18, 2024	Deadline to submit required online enrollment forms	Applicants who were selected during the online lottery must make a decision about the offer and submit the required online enrollment forms by March 18, at midnight.
Within 5 days of lottery acceptance	Mandatory Registration	Students accepted into the lottery have five business days to accept the seat and submit the required online enrollment forms. Kindergarten students will complete additional registration at Kindergarten Screening. More info will be emailed to you if accepted. Students accepted in grades 1st-12th will complete additional registration at New Student Orientation. More info will be emailed to you if accepted.
