Welcome to English 2! This course will cover a wide variety of world literature, language, society, and history. We will read and interpret several print and non-print sources, dissect novels, short stories, plays, poems, films, and other relevant sources that pertain to the understanding of world literature.
The primary focus of this class is to develop strong literature comprehension skills by making personal links, as well as historical and cultural connections with the texts we read.

Late Work Policy
All students are given a 2 day grace period to receive full credit for late work. After the grace period, the assignment receives an automatic 50%.
Any incomplete work will result in an incomplete grade in the class.
We will be reading several full novels and short stories in this class. You may be asked to do some of the reading on your own, as homework. Coming to class without having done the reading will result in an incomplete homework grade.
