Mrs. Jones - Fourth Grade

Welcome to 4th Grade! I am so excited to be part of Union Academy. I am looking forward to a great year together!!  This is my eleventh  year of teaching at Union Academy and feel so fortunate to be part of the UA family. I have my teaching degree from Appalachian State University and am certified in grades K-6. I spent 9 years teaching for the Charlotte-Mecklenburg School system. I have taught grades 3, 4 and 5. I love teaching and consider it such a joy to be able to make a difference in the lives of children. I have a structured classroom but allow for many opportunities for group and partner work. Students at Union Academy are expected to “do the right thing even when no one is looking” and we are always building our character. Thank you so much for sharing your child with me this year. I will do my best to ensure that they have the best year ever!
