Welcome to our class!
I am so excited to work with you and your child this year! This is my eighth year teaching third grade. I taught in New Jersey and then took some time to stay at home with my children after moving to North Carolina. Last December I joined the Union Academy family. I started as an interventionist for third grade and then a few months later taught the virtual third grade class.
I grew up in New Jersey and went to Moravian College in Pennsylvania where I received my degrees in Elementary Education and Psychology. I have two children, Jackson and Savannah, who attend Union Academy. We have an adorable hound mix named Owen.
I am truly grateful to work at Union Academy. I look forward to a wonderful year together growing academically and in character!
This will be Mrs. Tarlton's third year as an interventionist at UA. She grew up in Peachland and now lives in Monroe with her husband and three girls, Bailey Rae, Haven, and Lainey. Her oldest daughter attends Union Academy. They have two mini Aussies, Loki and Rosie. Mrs. Tarlton loves to read in her free time and spend time with her family. She loves working with third graders and is looking forward to this school year!
