Mrs. Mendoza - High School Math

Welcome!

I have been teaching at Union Academy since 2017, although I have been a part of the UA family since 2010 when my oldest started kindergarten. I have three children attending UA and they are in 6th, 8th, and 11th grades. I also have two fur babies, Olive and Harley. They are two very spoiled and loved Labradoodles! In my free time, I like to participate in physical fitness activities from CrossFit to IRONMAN. I am currently training for IRONMAN 70.3 North Carolina which will be in Wilmington in the fall of 2021.

I have a bachelor’s degree from Villanova University where I majored in secondary education and minored in math and psychology. This explains my love for Villanova basketball. I am also a huge Eagles fan. We finally got that Super Bowl win! Throughout my career, I have taught both middle and high school math in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and most recently in Raleigh, NC.

My Class Schedule for 2021-2022 is:
Period 1: Pre-Calculus Honors
Period 2: Python Programming 1 Honors (S1)/Microsoft Excel Honors (S2)
Period 3: Pre-Calculus Honors
Period 4: Pre-Calculus Honors
Period 5: NC Math 3
