I attended Bryan College and earned a BA degree in Christian Education. At Queens University, I completed my Master's Degree in Teaching.
I am the mother of six wonderful children. Four of them currently attend UA and my oldest sons are graduates of Union Academy and attend college. My husband is a Service Manager for a National home builder.
My first eight years of teaching were spent in a private school in Charlotte. I spent many years homeschooling my children in the first few years of their education. Eleven years ago, my oldest son was accepted into the UA lottery!
We were so thrilled to be a part of the UA family. In 2014, I began substitute teaching at Union Academy. This school is an amazing place to work and has quality educators with big hearts.I feel honored to teach in a school that focuses on Character and Education. I look forward to investing in your child's life this year.
I am so excited to be a part of the Union Academy family. I graduated from Appalachian State University in December of 2016. My degree is in Sociology with a concentration in families in Intimate Relationships. During my free time, I love exploring the outdoors, watching a good movie, or being with my friends and family. I know UA is perfect for me, because it will allow me to guide and motivate students, as well as be involved within the community. I am very excited to work with all the staff members and I look forward to a great year!
