Community Arts Council of UC Pledges $50K to Build Recording Studio

Monday, April 29, 2019 - UC Community Arts Council held this month’s board meeting at Union Academy in the new fine arts wing which houses the county’s first recording studio. Thanks to the $50K pledged by UCCAC to the Union Academy Foundation Capital Fund, the construction of the recording studio provides a needed resource in the community and will be available for rent to the public. The $50K will be paid in installments to UAF over a five year period. The two Wenger SoundLok booths provide sound isolation and exceptional sound quality for recording. Anyone interested in renting the recording studio should contact the UCCAC.

The Union Academy Upper School Media Center is a common ground for all grade levels where students can come together to help each other and enjoy the magic of reading. Annual Search for Board Members

Annual Search for Board Members
The UA Board will be holding its Annual Meeting and electing new Directors and Officers for the 2019-2020 School Board at the May 2nd Board meeting. Per bylaw requirements the initial slate of officers will be presented at the April 4 meeting and the final ballot presented at the May 2nd meeting for elections.

The Nominations Committee shall prepare a written ballot of Officers to be presented at the Board Meeting prior to the Annual Meeting and then shared the following day to the UA community. The Nominations Committee shall present the Final Ballot of Officers at the Annual Meeting.
