Parent's Guide to Student Achievement

On August 15, 2023, the North Carolina legislature passed Senate Bill 49 - the Parents’ Bill of Rights. In accordance with this legislation, Union Academy has created the Parents’ Guide to Student Achievement to address the specific rights of parents in regard to their child’s education.

Union Academy recognizes the value of family engagement and believes that the education of a child involves a partnership between parents/guardians and the school.

Parents are encouraged to learn about the educational goals and mission of the School by attending school functions and parent conferences, volunteering on campus, and communicating with school staff.
