Graduation Requirements

Students must take Spanish 1 and 2 to obtain a Union Academy diploma. They have the option to continue taking Spanish 3 and 4 with honors credits and the AP class. Additionally, students can fulfill this requirement by taking any two years of a foreign language offered online.   

We also offer a path for Heritage students who speak Spanish at home. They can take Spanish Heritage 1 and 2  as semester classes to meet the requirements,  then take Spanish 4 honors AND AP Spanish to obtain the *Global Language Endorsement.

*Global Language Endorsement: Complete a four-course sequence of study in the same world language, earning an overall unweighted GPA of 2.5 or above in those courses.
