Title IX, of the Education Amendments of 1972, is a federal civil rights law that protects all individuals from discrimination in education programs and activities on the basis of sex.

Title IX specifically states that: “No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance.”

Union Academy commits to respond promptly and effectively if it learns of any form of possible discrimination on the basis of sex.
