Getting your first band instrument!

  •
Buying or Renting an instrument is a big decision and is an investment in your child's music education. Thank you for visiting this page to gain information before you invest in an instrument for your band student. If you have any questions, please contact me via email at sstevens@unionacademy.org

Learning to play an instrument is hard enough... Students who start band on a quality instrument tend to learn faster and stay with it longer than students who start on an inferior instrument. Buying an instrument is an investment that will impact your band students' progress. I strongly suggest buying your instrument from a reputable music store like Music and Arts who provide students with quality instruments.

Music and Arts also provides rent to own options and pre-owned instruments, which helps make this investment easier to make. Click HERE to start the rental process with Music & Arts Please choose "Fall Delivery" and "Ship to School"

    FAQ about Renting

    Letter from Mr. Dan

I can tell you countless nightmares of students who bought an instrument online, at a pawn shop, or from a large supermarket. Most have to replace this "bargain" instrument within a year. Please trust our experience and purchase/rent a quality instrument.
