Welcome to UA Digital Media (Arts)!

My name is Katie Craig and I've been teaching at Union Academy for TWO years! I have lived in North Carolina all my life. I grew up in Davidson, and went to a small arts school high school. I loved my experience in high school so much that I decided to become an art teacher. I earned my BFA in K-12 Arts Education from UNCC and loved every minute of my time there and the Arts Ed. program (go Niners)! 

I started my teaching career at UA and couldn't be more thankful for the opportunities I've been given here. I believe in the arts, our school, and our students and love that I get to bridge all of those things together each day. Check out all of my classes below!

I live in Charlotte and spend most of my time with family, friends, and working alongside a church plant in NoDa. 
Some of my favorite hobbies are: photography, painting, hiking, kayaking, and just curling up with a book and a blanket. 

Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your children's lives. Being a teacher is my favorite hat that I get to wear!
