Mrs. Virginia Sanguinetti
Mrs. Virginia Sanguinetti is a teacher from Maracaibo, Venezuela. She started her teaching career at Escuela Bella Vista, an international school in her hometown. In 2004, after teaching in Elementary school for a few years, she took on the challenge of moving to Union County and becoming an ESL teacher at Monroe Middle, and East Elementary schools. After her experience in North Carolina, she returned home and worked as the ESL coordinator and ESL Middle school teacher at her former school.
After the birth of her two children, Mrs. Sanguinetti became interested in Early Childhood education and became a Kindergarten teacher. In 2018, she returned to Union County as a First Grade DLI teacher (Dual Language Immersion). She worked at Western Union Elementary School for four years.
Mrs. Sanguinetti is very excited to work with high school students and the incredible Spanish team at Union Academy. She hopes to ignite a love for languages and foreign cultures in our students at UA.
