I am excited to be teaching 8th grade ELA for the 2022-23 school year.  This is my first year teaching at UA after teaching for 13 years in both UCPS and Cabarrus County Schools.  I am a Union County native and graduated from Piedmont HS in 2004.  I got my BA in English Education from Wingate University, my MA from The University of Phoenix, and my EdD from Argosy University.  I have also been an adjunct professor at Wingate University since 2019, and when I'm not teaching you can find me on the road singing and playing music.
