Welcome!

I'm Morgan Harris. I was born in Charlotte, NC and moved around quite a bit growing up. I went to Wingate University and graduated in 2017 with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education with honors. I am brand new to the Cardinal family and I am so happy to be here. This will be my sixth year teaching. I come from Union County Public Schools. Last year, I was awarded Teacher of the Year for my school. I have taught in many grades throughout my career, but predominantly I was a second grade teacher. I am excited about learning and growing with your students as they get to experience third grade. 

I currently reside in Matthews, NC with my husband (Matthew), two cats (Little Man and Shadow), and my dog (Luna). If I am not teaching, I am usually in the kitchen baking some type of sweet that my family will devour or I have my nose in a book at all times.
