Wife (Laura), two sons and a daughter.
Independence High School (Charlotte, NC) and Appalachian State University (Boone, NC)
"I believe like UA in educating the whole child through the three (3) pillars. One, creating a challenging educational environment to preparestudents for a collegiate education or the workforce. Two, is using community service to teach the student life outside of themselves. The final pillar being character, the education of the heart. We can teach the brain and we can teach acts of kindness but if we have not taught the student the appeal to do those things on their own we have failed the child."
