    The UA Carolina Point Trip is a tradition for our school. It is a very special bonding trip for new high school students. This is a staff-chaperoned trip and seniors come along to create the most exciting experience possible. Lip Sync battles, flour bombs, skits, you name it! Treasured memories will be made. Your student will have the opportunity to swim the waterfront, pool, paddleboard, waterslide & cliff jump. Archery tag, go-karts or rolling water balls, wiffleball, basketball, volleyball, water volleyball, store, snack bar and game room with pool tables, ping pong, foosball, carpetball will also be available.

    • Bunkmate Assignment Request Forms will go out after Registration closes. 
    • Packing lists and itineraries will go out when bunkmate assignments are made. 
    • Staff Chaperones only, but parents can sign up to donate water and snacks.
    • This is an optional trip and is not required. Students who do not register will have to attend classes as usual. 
    • We will be traveling to Carolina Point via Burke Charter Buses. 
    • September temps in Brevard ranged between a high of 70 and 90 degrees. Bathing suit and Sweatshirt weather!

     Medication Guidelines for Overnight Trips

    If a student requires medication to be administered during an overnight field trip, medication consent forms along with the medication need to be delivered to the school health room NO LATER THAN the processing due date listed above.

    NO MEDICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED THE DAY BEFORE OR THE DAY OF DEPARTURE. No exceptions.

     Arrangements need to be made with your doctor well in advance to fill/refill prescriptions or provide required documentation.

    Prescription and OTC medications must be supplied in their original container. The dispensing directions must be on the outside of the container.

    A parent/guardian must deliver the appropriate medication to be dispensed to the school health room. Students may not carry or self-administer prescriptions or OTC medications without a self-carry consent form on file. (See Self-Carry Guidelines.)
