    THE BETSY-JEFF PENN 4-H CENTER IS North Carolina 4-H’s premier camping institution in the state, serving over 7,000 young people every year. Nestled on nearly 200 acres of forests, lakes, streams, and fields in the North Carolina Piedmont, the Center is proud to provide research-based educational experiences that help develop and promote the life skills necessary for young people to become productive members of society. This trip is a deep tradition for UA students and not to be missed. Registration will close on September 22, 2023. No late registrations can be accepted.

    COST: $246 (3 payments of $82 due by Oct 1)

    Make sure ALL information entered in the MPP registration is correct, especially your email address. ALL CAMP INFORMATION WILL COME TO THE EMAIL ADDRESS YOU PROVIDE IN THIS FORM.

Medication Requirements

  • MEDICATIONS FOR THIS TRIP ARE DUE ON SEPT 29.

     Medication Guidelines for Overnight Trips

    If a student requires medication to be administered during an overnight field trip, medication consent forms along with the medication need to be delivered to the school health room NO LATER THAN the processing due date listed above.

    NO MEDICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED THE DAY BEFORE OR THE DAY OF DEPARTURE. No exceptions.

     Arrangements need to be made with your doctor well in advance to fill/refill prescriptions or provide required documentation.

    Prescription and OTC medications must be supplied in their original container. The dispensing directions must be on the outside of the container.

    A parent/guardian must deliver the appropriate medication to be dispensed to the school health room. Students may not carry or self-administer prescriptions or OTC medications without a self-carry consent form on file. (See Self-Carry Guidelines.)
