I have been an educator for approximately 32.5 years. This is currently my second year at Union Academy. I teach 8th grade Science and Social Studies. I have enjoyed my brief time here. I am also a Driver Education instructor for Union County Public Schools. I have instructed Driver Education for 19 years. I graduated from Wingate University with BS degree. I have a double major and a minor. My majors are Biology and Secondary Education, and my minor is Chemistry.

My faith is very important to me. It is the basis for my teaching. I am an avid outdoorsman. I enjoy archery and archery hunting. I also have competed nationally in turkey calling and enjoy spring turkey season. I enjoy college football. Go Vols!

I have two children, both in college. I love my daughter and my son. I am truly blessed that God allowed me to be their dad.
