I am a mom of 4 daughters, two of whom attend Union Academy.  My hobbies include arts and crafts, especially painting and drawing and building things out of recycled wood pallets.  I also enjoy playing and watching many sports.  My favorite sports to participate in are soccer and snowboarding. I even still play soccer in an adult recreational league on the weekends with my husband.  My daughters love to play soccer just like their parents. I attended Pennsylvania State University where I majored in Secondary Education.  I moved to North Carolina less than a year after graduating and have been here since 2010.  I have been teaching middle school since 2012.  The 2017-2018 school year was my first year at Union Academy.  I really enjoy teaching here and I look forward to many more years as a Cardinal!

    Homework

    Occasionally, we might not finish something in class and it will need to be finished at home.  Otherwise, most homework will be to study for the quizzes and tests.    

    Late Work

    All work is expected to be turned in on time.  Any late work is subject to an immediate zero, but can be made up within a reasonable amount of time. No late work will be accepted within 2 weeks of the end of a marking period, due to time constraints for grading.  Work that is late due to absences will follow school policies. 

    Tutoring Hours

    Before school at 7:15 or after school during carpool upon request.
