Mrs. Amanda Adams

Hello and welcome to 6th grade Math!  I am so glad you're here!  My name is Mrs. Adams and I have taught here at Union Academy for the past 6 years.  Graduating from UNC Charlotte in May,  I started teaching in 1999 in Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools.
My husband and I currently live in India Trail with our 3 children and 1 canine child.  We have a son going into the 12th grade who is an avid basketball player and our daughters are going into the 4th and 6th grade here at UA.  And I can't leave out the dog, we have a very spoiled miniature labradoodle named Sophie that could spend the entire day riding in the car.
Our family loves to travel to the Tennessee mountains whenever we get the chance!
In my free time, I love to read and craft and sew and if it's the morning time, you'll almost always see me with a Dunkin'!  I think I keep them in business.  You know it's bad when you go thru the drive thru and the girl at the window says "You must have been on vacation last week Amanda!".  
I am looking forward to getting to know your children this year!
