I grew up here in Union County were I attended Piedmont High School. Following graduation I moved to the coast where I attended the University of North Carolina Wilmington where I majored in Elementary Education with a concentration in behavioral studies. I loved living in a small town so I decided to move back to Monroe after earning my degree. I have been teaching at Union Academy since 2019.

When I'm not teaching I am usually spending time with my family and two dogs, Lulu and Bella. I enjoy going on vacation and reading books.
