Business Office

The Business Office/Finance Department’s primary functions include budget preparation and administration, financial accounting, budget development and monitoring, state and federal mandated reporting, payroll and benefit administration, purchasing, inventory control, fundraisers, grant management and reporting, cash management, insurance programs, management of debt service, accounts payable, accounts receivable and risk management.

Recognitions:

Union Academy received a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting from The Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2016. This is the seventh consecutive year that the school has received this prestigious award.

In addition, the Association of School Business Officials (ASBO) awarded a Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting to Union Academy for its comprehensive annual financial report for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2016. This was the eighth consecutive year that the School has received this award.
