It is Union Academy’s mission to cultivate learning that integrates high expectations for academic achievement with high standards for character development. Technology is vital in achieving this goal.  Our school’s strategic plan includes improving communication through technology, integrating technology into all curriculums, and establishing technology literacy for the entire Union Academy community.

It is our challenge at Union Academy to create a vision of technological growth while minimizing the impact of limited resources.  We aim to inspire and encourage professional development of faculty and staff, without whom technological growth will not occur. We plan to infuse technology into all aspects of our students’ education in order to prepare them to be successful in the continuously evolving world of technology.

At Union Academy, the Media and Technology departments work collaboratively to ensure students are exposed to all aspects of educational media, including books, video, music, computers, photography, etc.  To ensure a successful program, UA follows a state approved technology plan, conducts detailed media and technology staff development and works with instructional staff to integrate media and technology into the curriculum.
