Union Academy Enrichment Program
The Union Academy Enrichment Program is a set of special courses that are offered by Union Academy to its students on a semester basis for a fee. UA offers these classes at the Union Academy Lower Campus after the normal school day. Classes typically meet once a week for 60 minute periods.
Our purpose is to enrich the children’s education by providing high quality and affordable learning opportunities beyond the regular curriculum in the arts, sciences, music, languages, and sports. Our curriculum is designed to encourage progress in academic, personal and social development. The staff is selected from UA’s faculty and other educational sources in the community. Class sizes are small enough to ensure individual attention. Skilled enthusiastic teachers and hands on learning create a supportive environment for students to learn and the children often can’t wait for the next class to begin.
To join, simply pick out the course(s) you’d like to take and fill out the registration form. Bring the form and course fees to your teacher or the Enrichment mailbox located near the office on the lower school campus by the registration deadline of January 31st, 2008. Be sure to sign up quickly as many popular classes fill up early. All classes have limited space and are on a first-come, first-served basis.
Be sure to read the General Information page for important information. If you have any questions or suggestions, please call the Program Director, Jennifer Mattison at 704-283-5678 ext 525.
